Laura Morris is one half of Networking Mummies and also owns her own business www.rentabuggy.co.uk. She is a single mum to her daughter Ashleigh, who is nearly 4 years old. When Laura ever does have any spare time!, she enjoys playing with her daughter, walks down the beach, reading and running. Laura originally lived in Warwick until six years ago when she moved to Bournemouth. Rentabuggy allows families to ease and rent top selling pushchairs on a monthly basis. They stock brand names like Bugaboo, Maclaren, Phil & Teds, Quinny and more. They also provide holiday rentals all over the UK including Travel Cots, Highchairs, Stairgates etc. They have recently joined partners with various hotels to work together and they deliver and collect holiday items direct from your place of stay to take the fuss out of packing! They have also just introduced their very own Holiday Welcome Packs, full of all the essentials for your holidays! Laura was shortlisted for 1 of 5 companies in the BT Business Grant Competition in 2009 to win £10,000. She was also recently announced Winner of the ‘Start Up’ Category in the Women On Their Way Awards 2010. Laura, has also just recently found out that she was shortlisted for ‘Business Parent of the Year’ for the mum and working Awards. Laura has launched into writing articles for various website and publications and is keen to work within this field further. She ia a volunteer for Young Enterprise. Laura quotes ‘When I was at school there were never any options or advice about running your own business. I am very passionate in providing this further into schools across the Country’ by running various workshops and talks.’ Laura has aso just recently been made an Ambassador of Enterprise UK. Enterprise UK is a national campaign to give people in the UK the confidence, skills and ambition to be enterprising – to have ideas and make them happen. ‘I love to help other people and its great to be able to offer advice and knowledge to our members. I am always on the look out to help other people within their business and if I me across anything for anyone, I pass it on. Networking is about helping others in what can be a very tough business market. Networking Mummies is a big part of my life, not only for business but I have made some great friends’.
