Rather than telling you, let me give you a quick, virtual demonstration. I’m wondering whether you have the amount, and type, of clients you want? Can I ask, is your business as creative as you would like? What one thing would make it more satisfying? I work with creative-sector businesses, mainly with graphic designers, to help them get into greater profitability and fulfillment.

CoachMhairi Hi Mark & San, I have a question: A contact of mine suggests I follow-back everyone who follows me, regardless of whether or not they tweet about things relevant to my business and that of my followers. Currently I follow-back everyone who follows me who also tweets about relevant things. My reasoning being: 1) I want to read content that’s useful for me – and useful for RTing to my followers 2) that even using Twitter Lists, there’s a limit to how many Twitter feeds I actually can keep up, and I don’t want some of the very valuable Feeds I follow to get lost in the noise. I realise that social media is very contextual, often no right or wrong answers, but how can I decide which approach is right for my business? I have about almost 200 followers, while my colleague has 1,800… that plus the fact that she usually has great ideas keeps me thinking this over and over! Background info: my business is coaching design business owners, and my business model is mainly internet-based, ie I’m developing a product funnel of eCourses, webinars, retreats and one-two-one coaching. Thanks ever so much for your time and your knowledge.
- what you are after is listeners not so much followers.. i dont suggest that you follow all back.. follow peeps back that add value to you based on your criteria… however you can add peeps to a list to follow that list… by following all back, you will get tons of dm nonsense and will miss the golden nuggets of info as it is swamped in between thousands of other messages…

- Thanks for posting here too! I’ll share the answer, in case anyone else has the same problem. When MailChimp refers to a ”campaign” it means each individual edition of your newsletter
- Thanks for answering, much appreciated. I wish the MailChimp glossary were longer, it didn’t include the word Campaign. I’ll get in touch with them and let them know. I’ve read about four of their guides so far, but none answered this basic question, LOL
